Software Engineers WantedShepherdSoft (shepherdsoft.pracstrat.com), a Xiamen, China-based software consulting and development team was founded in August 2006. We are focused on
1. using our expertise to help and suggest a best software solution for our cusomter’s need and
2. using cutting-edge technology such as ROR, PHP, JAVA etc. to bring the value to our customers by adopting Agile methodology into our development process.
In our team, our vision is to strive for quality. The word quality in our team consists of three aspects: production (service) quality, character quality as well as life quality. We believe that the key to achieve the production (service) quality is through empowering each individual in our team to be able to make progress in improving their own character quality and life quality. We are dedicated to recruit and train software engineers who share the same vision with us. The engineers we hire will get a significant amount of time of training from two senior American software engineers, one with 30 years development experience, the other 10 years. In order to ensure high quality software, we are developing our projects by using Restful architecture, Rspec, SeleniumRC, TDD, BDD, Pair Programming, Refactoring and agile planning techniques etc. Currently we have served a wide range of American customers, including startups, consulting firms, Marketing companies and ISP companies. Moreover, we have been developed and owned two products which will be launch into both American and Chinese market in 2008.

In our interview, you need to possess the following skills so that you can pass:
1. English reading/listening/writing/speaking skills (Every engineers in our team use English daily to communicate with our customers)
2. Programming skillS, like Algorithm, data structure

4. Day-to-day project development skills
